Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year has begun.

To register for Kindergarten, students must be five years old as of Dec. 31, 2024.

Lakeview offers a full day Monday/Wednesday (with alternating Fridays), and a full day Tuesday/Thursday (with alternating Fridays) Program.

If you are new to the City of Lethbridge, moving to another part of the City, and would like to know what school your child should be attending, please use THIS LINK to check.

Kindergarten Registration Requirements:

Birth Certificate
- If you do not have a Birth Certificate, please complete the following form and include it in your registration package - Birth Certificate Letter of Intent. Be sure to visit Alberta.ca as soon as possible to request a birth certificate for your child.
- Alternatively, you can provide a Canadian Citizenship Document such as a passport.
Proof of Address (driver's license with updated address, phone bill, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)

Please follow these steps when registering...

1. Click on the registration link below.

2. Create an account through School Engage

3. Click "Add Student" and fill in the information

4. Complete the 2024-2025 Registration Form

5. Confirm the information is accurate and true and submit.

If you live outside of the Lakeview School attendance boundary, but still wish to attend Lakeview school in 2024-2025, please complete and submit this form and attach to the application or email it to us at lakeview@lethsd.ab.ca

Grade 1 - 5 Registration

Grades 1-5 continuing registration for the 2024-2025 school year has begun. Emails have been sent to current Lakeview families with a link to register your child. Deadline is March 28th.

All students new to the Lethbridge School Division need to register at their designated school. Families have a designated school based on their home address and the program they choose. You can find your designated school by using our School Locator Tool

If you live outside of the Lakeview School attendance boundary, but still wish to attend Lakeview school in 2024-2025, please complete and submit the Out of Boundary Application for Admission

If your child is a new student to our Division, please follow the link below to register. If your child already attends Lakeview, do not use this link.
