Family Numeracy Night

In celebration of Education Week:  Learning Uplifts All, we are thrilled to invite all our families to our Family Numeracy event on Thursday, April 18.  This year, we will be teaming up with the Winston Churchill High School Math Club who have been busy planning a night of fun math challenges for all ages.  As well, there will be outdoor games set up in the courtyard and a scavenger hunt on the playground.

Here's what to expect:

1.  The event runs from 6:00-7:30 pm on Thursday, April 18 and will start in the outdoor classroom near the front of the school.

2. There will be 17 indoor stations (divided between K-3/ 4-5) in the gym.

3.  Students will collect stamps for attending sessions that can be turned in for a small prize.

4.  The challenges are designed for families to work together and the adults are encouraged to participate too!

5. We're hoping for good weather so we can enjoy popsicles on the playground at 7:30.

6.  At the end of the night we hope everyone will agree that MATH is FUN!
